Panel Descriptions

Mobility Master Class: Enabling an Empowered Mobile User While Balancing Security
Building on the 2012 National Conference panel, "BYOD - Balancing Access with Security," we are shifting the security focus forward. It's no longer about the "D" in devices, but rather the mobile applications installed on those devices and the enterprise networks those applications can affect (BYOA and BYON). Take a deep dive into the current state of the mobile threat landscape and learn how to identify those security gaps to more safely enable your workforce to access corporate assets without the fear of compromise.

  • Panelist Requirements
The EWF is seeking panelists that can clearly articulate on the topics of secure mobile architecture, iOS & Android platform/application security and policy-based differentiated access. Ideal panelists will be those addressing this subject matter holistically as well as offer specific solutions from experience in a training format.

Supply Chain Management and Third Party Risks
Supply chains are essential for business operation today. As supply chains become increasingly more complex so do the means of communication between third parties and their supply chains. This sequence ultimately leaves gaps open for your data to be compromised. Explore methods of how best to assess your third parties, conduct a step-by-step risk assessment, understand the governance and standards around securing your data, and learn through interactive discussion and group work.

  • Panelist Requirements
We are looking for panelists and lightning talk presenters with the following skills and background:
    • Third party service delivery management responsibilities
    • Business case/experience related to best practices for supply chain management
    • Expertise in compliance/regulations/legal that affect third party management
    • Risk management best practices for third party management
    • Security incidents lesson learned dealing with supply chain/third party

Pecha Kucha Presentations
We are also looking for individuals interested in submitting Pecha Kucha presentations related to the two panels listed above, as well as those focused on big data and financial services information security. If interested, please submit your presentation title and abstract

Thank you for your submission and good luck!
